​Ministry Signs MoU with Injaz Qatar to Train Students

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Injaz Qatar in the framework of the partnership and continuous cooperation between both parties and to support and to implement the foundation’s programmes in the schools of the country.

The MoU was signed by Assistant Under-Secretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry, Mrs. Fawzia Al-Khater; and Injaz Board Chairperson, HE Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani.

The MoU aims to support and implement the programmes of Injaz to strengthen the life skills, spread financial and economic awareness, support entrepreneurship, achieve readiness for university studies and encourage joining the labour market in Qatar. The MoU will be held in a number of public and private preparatory and high schools in the State of Qatar, as the ministry is considered the cultural and educational partner of Injaz.

Mrs. Fawzia Al-Khater said the ministry’s goals are to prepare world citizens that serve the civil and economic needs of the State of Qatar and excel as members and individuals of the society. Mrs. Al-Khater said inspiring Qatari youth and enabling them to employ their talents and produce innovation and creativity in the labour markets, is an exceptional contribution to prepare them to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

Mrs. Al-Khater added that Injaz’s achievements since its establishment which includes meaningful, interactive and high quality programmes which a large sector of the Qatari students have benefited from, has turned it into an incubator for students that are passionate for education and knowledge, she further expressed her excitement to the upcoming phases of cooperation and partnership to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.

For her part, HE Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani said signing this MoU culminates the joint vision between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Injaz to prepare the student for the field of financial literacy, to prepare them to enter the labour market and entrepreneurship in aim to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, especially in the human and economic development fields.

She expressed her pride in this partnership which enhances and allows Injaz to communicate with a large number of students through its various programs to prepare and enable them to achieve their professional success. She confirmed that the MoU came part of the strong relations and continuous and fruitful cooperation in the field of education and social and economic development between both sides.

HE Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani said Injaz will provide the opportunity for students to know the economic chances in the local market through the experiences it provides to the volunteers in the private sector.

The ministry shall contribute to the development of citizens’ skills and mental abilities in order to keep up with the progress and changes in order to enable them to put knowledge into practice, HE Sheikha Hanadi said.

Injaz is a non-profit organization that supports Qatar National Vision 2030 through fields such as preparing students and developing their personal and professional skills for the labor market, through providing a number of specialized employment and educational programs.
