Professor Sheikha Abdulla Al-Misnad, a leading Qatari educator, has occupied numerous and prestigious positions in teaching, administration, and research, assuming the presidency of the University of Qatar in 2003, and was appointed Minister in 2010. Professor Al-Misnad is a Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Foundation as well as a member of the Supreme Educational Council. At the international level, Professor Al-Misnad since June 2004 has been selected member of the United Nations University Council (UNU). President Al-Misnad received her undergraduate training at the University of Qatar where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, and subsequently a Diploma in Education. She then enrolled in doctoral studies at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom where she was granted the Doctor of Philosophy in Education. She was conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Civil Law from Durham University, January 2008.

Dr. Mazen Jassim Jaidah Member Dr. Mazen Jassim Jaidah Member  Bio: DR.MAZEN J.JAIDAH
Dr. Mazen Jaidah earned his PhD in Business Economics and Middle Eastern History from Harvard University. He is the first Qatari with a Master and Doctorate degrees from Harvard (MPP `96 , PhD `08).
His academic research extends to interdisciplinary fields and applies historical analysis, process modeling, and case studies.
In the private sector, Dr. Mazen Jaidah is the Chairman of the Executive Board at Jaidah Holdings. His practical expertise in the business domain includes strategy development, organizational structure, corporate governance, and joint venture partnerships.
In addition of being a Member of the Board of the Supreme Education Council and its Executive Committee, Dr. Mazen Jaidah is on Qatar Foundation’s Board of Directors.
